Why a feeder instead of a labeling station
No extra station on the line
The feeder occupies a feeder slot on the placement platform. The label becomes one more item the nozzle picks up, on the same machine that places components.
No change to the placement program
The feeder can present labels on its own sensor. If the machine wants to drive the feed, it supplies a signal on the green wire; otherwise the feeder feeds when the label table is empty.
Width and columns to match the label
Models run from 2 mm to 248 mm label width, with 1 to 14 columns. One feeder covers the whole range up to its model limit, so a range of label jobs shares the same unit.
Reel and material flexibility
Beyond paper labels, the same feeder handles FPC stiffeners, Mylar tape, foam, thermal pads, dust mesh and high-temperature tape on roll.
